”Light to medium crimson-purple; the bright, fragrant bouquet, with its blend of red berries and spice lifted by the impact of 5% viognier, leads into a palate with cherry and raspberry fruit offset by some savoury herbal characters. A very good outcome for a challenging vintage” 94 points James Halliday 2012 Wine companion

Five stars – Cool Climate shiraz feature
“..appealed with its subtle balance and perfume..driven by hints of black pepper and cedar. Bourne (Peter) was very impressed – Delightful smoky whole-bunch character, five spice and red fruits – raspberry and red currant. Deliciously fleshy palate, again showing sweet spices and soft red fruit flavours. A wine of harmony and precision”
